Let's celebrate our villages! On Friday, December 4 and Saturday, December 5, the Maison rurale de Grez will beat to the rhythm of our villages! Exhibition, photos, sound clips, ancient dances, readings, writing games, open stage will delight young and old in search of anecdotes or testimonies on life in our villages, from the last century to the Neanderthal era... without forgetting the Merovingian era, that of the Dame de Grez! The exhibition will retrace three years of workshops carried out in each of the entities of Grez-Doiceau. Sixteen workshops in total, where Grézien·ne·s (and others!) walked our paths and our past, thanks to stories and testimonies which, then, nourished their imagination through writing. There will be surprises and awaited moments, like the presentation and distribution of the publication of the Sentiers enchantés! Putting our villages in the spotlight and making elements of their history visible was indeed the object of the Sentiers enchantés workshops led since September 2023 in each of the villages and hamlets of Grez-Doiceau. At the heart of these workshops, History - or stories -, writing, and sharing. Come take part in the party! In practice: Where?
