Queer Writing Group

Queer Writing Group is a nomadic writing group that creates a safe space to write and experiment with themes, forms and writing processes that fall outside common writing conventions. Through various writing exercises and experiments, we challenge our writing in a playful way. From dialogues to collage texts to something that doesn't have a name yet... We write, read and discuss without judgment. The assignments are low-threshold, although we never know in advance where they will take us. Writing experience is not required, boldness a little... Queer Writing Group is not a course or a place to get feedback on your manuscript. It is a playground where you can mess around and experiment to find your own (queer) writing voice. Who are we? We are two writers, Laika Planchenault and Pieter Delfosse. We like to experiment as writers ourselves and are convinced that every search is more interesting with others. We believe in the value of writing together to break out of the limitations of our own minds.
