The Seventh Seal

A knight returns home from the crusades and arrives back in plague-ridden Sweden. When Als De Dood comes to fetch him, the knight challenges him to a game of chess for his life. The knight and De Dood play their chess match while the people around them try to deal with the consequences of the plague.
