In the mood for a mountain full of stories, close to Leuven? Join us on the Kesselberg: an ancient hill where paths whisper about vanished castles, sheep, and heath. During this walk, you will truly get to know the mountain. We will search for plants with surprising powers and unravel myths and ancient folk customs. You will learn to look with new eyes at what grows along the path – from humble plantain to the powerhouse stinging nettle. You will discover why management with sheep keeps this mountain alive. And just when you think you understand the Kesselberg, the playful finale follows: we dive into the world of fragrant herbs. You will smell, guess, and taste tea from plants that only reveal themselves to those who look carefully. As the icing on the cake, the brave participants will receive a small jar of homemade magic ointment – a little bit of Kesselberg magic to enjoy at home afterwards. Light, playful, educational… and just that little bit enchanting for everyone who likes to experience nature differently. Let yourself be surprised, amazed, and perhaps also a little bit enchanted.
