RE:SIST – Weekend of feminist resistance

In the weekend preceding International Women’s Day, we resist against dusty, old-fashioned ideas about womanhood, gender, and what is and isn’t ‘right’.Because it’s about time we swept those old stories aside with the rubbish and make way for new plots. In which Jan is no different from Imane, nobody bats an eye at menstruation, the Bechdel test proves unnecessary, and all the boys are proud feminists.Through theatre, reading sessions (by Humeyra Cetinel and Zarissa Windzak, amongst others), workshops, and encounters, we make this whole weekend all about gender equality.
