When Wanneer John and Molly Chester have to leave their apartment in Los Angeles, they decide to build a biodiverse farm on 200 hectares in Ventura County.
However, the land is exhausted and suffers from a severe drought. 'The Biggest Little Farm' follows eight years of intensive work and big dreams: they plant 10,000 fruit trees and more than 200 different crops, and bring all kinds of animals to the farm.
Slowly, the ecosystem begins to come back to life, and so does the Chesters' hope. But through a series of unexpected twists, they realize that survival requires a deep understanding of the complexity of nature.
