Persona, Film Fest Gent on Tour

A young nurse, Alma, is put in charge of Elisabeth Vogler, an actress who is seemingly healthy but refuses to speak. As they spend time together, Alma talks incessantly to Elisabeth, without ever receiving an answer. With Ingmar Bergman, Met Persona delivered one of the most radical and influential works of his oeuvre, in which he reduced his recurring themes of identity, silence, and human connection to their most distilled form.
