The Laughter Caravans

On July 4 at 8:00 PM, Les Caravanes du Rire stops in Lasne for an evening placed under the sign of humor and biting reflection. The event will be held in the park of the municipal house, a green setting ideal for enjoying an outdoor show, with the support of the province of Walloon Brabant. On the bill: Manipulateur, the incisive one-man show by Jérémy Moriau, an artist whose notoriety continues to grow on the French-speaking comedy scene. In this show as funny as it is stinging, the comedian tackles a universal question: "Wouldn't we all be taken for fools a little bit?". From the cult of the summer body to the enchanted world of Disney, through romantic relationships, parenthood, or even the injunctions of daily life, Jérémy Moriau dissects with lucidity the mechanisms of manipulation that punctuate our lives. Without artifice but with a good dose of self-deprecation and communicative energy, the artist delivers a performance that is both scathing and hilarious.
