Just like the mowers 100 years ago, we start with a hearty breakfast: hand-cut coarse bread with eggs and bacon, lard, butter, and jam with a glass of table beer, a cup of buttermilk, herbal tea, or coffee. Afterwards, we head into the meadows. Originally soggy lands became rich grasslands. The mowing time in the meadows was one of the highlights of the year for the village for centuries. Will the hay get dry and into the barn in time? We look back with powerful stories. 22 euros pp. incl. breakfast. reservation: stonesandstories@outlook.com
