'The Second Woman' was conceived by Nat Randall and Anna Breckon and was first performed in 2016. An actress repeats a scene a hundred times that is loosely based on John Cassavetes' Opening Night. The film 'Opening Night' (1977) is about a play titled 'The Second Woman'. The dialogues for 'The Second Woman' by Randall and Breckon are largely taken from Cassavetes' film. Each encounter lasts about 10 minutes and each time an intense, intimate ritual unfolds. Through the repetition of the same arc, you see the subtle changes, the small nuances, the emotions that shift from scene to scene. Fiction and reality flow into each other and pull you into an addictive and hypnotic rhythm. You are free to come and go whenever you want, but don't miss the final moment: a great release after the crescendo of 100 encounters, 100 choices, and 24 hours of intensity. TICKETS Those who want the full package should buy a 24-hour ticket. With it, you can walk in and out whenever you want for 24 hours. Or you can follow from a certain hour: from 9 PM in the evening, 2 AM at night, or 9 AM in the morning. With each ticket, you can continue to follow until the end. If you want to be there from the start, that is only possible with the 24-hour ticket. And don't worry, with each ticket you can enter and leave the hall for short or longer periods. Ticket info 24-HOUR TICKETS This is the only way to be guaranteed to experience the full 24-hour experience, from start (Sat 13.06 at 4:00 PM) to end (Sun 14.06 at 4:00 PM). Holders of 24-hour tickets are the only ticket holders who will experience the very first start of the performance. The performance starts promptly at 4:00 PM on Saturday 13.06. Once you are in the hall, you may stay there for 24 hours. After each scene - every quarter of an hour - you have the chance to leave the hall to take a break. After two hours, there is always a break of a quarter of an hour. There is no fixed seat choice. If you leave the hall, you choose a new seat when you re-enter. Holders of a 24-hour ticket get priority when entering the hall. At very busy times, it applies that when you leave the hall, you may have to wait until a seat is available again. TIME SLOT TICKETS TIME SLOTS: 21:00 | 02:00 | 09:00 This ticket provides access at the time stated on your ticket. You can arrive 15 minutes before the start of your scheduled access time. Upon arrival, you take your place in the priority queue. Latecomers join the regular queue. Once in the hall, you can choose to stay until the performance ends at 4:00 PM. At busy times, it applies that when you leave the hall, you may have to join the queue again and wait until a seat is available again. You do not have to pay for this again. If you arrive later than an hour after the start of your time slot, you may have to wait in the regular queue until a seat is available.
