The Bernadette Maries

The Bernadette Maries is a band originating from Brussels, formed in 2024, composed of Daria, Guy & Romain. Their sound mixes the energy of post-punk, the sound textures of shoegaze and the melodic structures of indie rock. The music of TBM speaks of love and existentialism, of spleen and the meaning of our lives in a world that is slowly collapsing. It is inspired not only by other music, but also draws from society, books and cinema. Their very first track, "Dream Place", was released in September 2024, quickly followed by "Nouvelle Vague" and "We Know Everything". "LvvV", the band's first EP, was released on February 14, 2025. On December 3, 2025, they unveiled their first music video "The Closer You Look", which precedes their second single "ESO", whose release is scheduled for April 29, 2026. In constant evolution, The Bernadette Maries shape their musical journey through each release and each performance. In only one year of existence, TBM have already toured in Belgium (where they have played four times in the legendary venue of Botanique), in France and in the Netherlands, and have had the chance to share the stage with bands such as Bodega, Ditz, English Teacher, The Ex, Gurriers, Maquina, New Dad, Humour... They are currently working on a first album, whose release is scheduled for September 18, 2026, via Géographie Records. The record will include the singles "The Closer You Look", "ESO" and "Missing Bernadette".
