Masterclass: introduction to drawing techniques (FR)
ven. 21 août 2026 · 10:00
Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium, Brussels
Les Musées royaux des Beaux-Arts de Belgique with Laurence Jeanne Grosfils, multidisciplinary artist, invite you to discover the museum and its collections differently. A whole day for you to take time to look, to pause. Whatever your drawing level, Laurence will accompany you with enthusiasm. Multiple proposals are offered to approach techniques in a playful way.
The sign as the origin of visual language, of a message. The trace as memory of the gesture. Writing as a plastic form. This masterclass proposes to question the correspondences between visual arts and written language based on the works of the MRBAB. We will observe how artists integrate letters, symbols and signs into their compositions, then experiment with these issues in personal practice: writing, drawing, hybridizing codes, blurring the boundaries between text and image.
Organisation
Les mornings take place generally within the collections and from the exploration of the works. The afternoons are dedicated to creation in workshops around the multiple techniques offered.
Don't hesitate to register as a duo and spend a day of creativity in complicity...
No drawing prerequisite is necessary.
