Navigating support - Information evening for parents and loved ones For many families with a child with autism or an intellectual disability, finding their way through the landscape of support is not easy. Terms like PAB (personal budget), support plans, or practical help are often mentioned, but where do you start? And what exact steps do you need to take? During this information evening, Prikkelarm aims to guide parents and loved ones through the various support options for minors in an accessible way. We are bringing together several organizations, each of which will explain from their expertise how they can guide or support families. During the evening, the following topics will be covered, among others: how a process with DOP (Dienst Ondersteuningsplan) works what practical support is possible via Helpper In addition to the information, there will also be room to ask questions and exchange experiences with other parents. As always at Prikkelarm, we strive for a warm, calm, and respectful atmosphere in which everyone feels welcome. This information evening is intended for parents, family members, and anyone involved in the support of children, young people, and young adults with care needs.
