Plant and nature excursion in 'The 4 brook valleys' of Zutendaal.

This year, Natuurpunt Lanaken and Natuurlijk Zutendaal are again organizing a number of plant excursions together, spread across Lanaken and Zutendaal. These take place every Wednesday evening in June, each time from 19:00 to 21:00. With an experienced guide and, of course, in great company, you will learn to recognize plants step by step. Prior knowledge is not necessary. Everyone is welcome, admission is free. Overview of excursions · Zutendaal- and Gebroekerbeek valley (June 3). Departure: parking Belevingscentrum Biodiversiteit Lieteberg, Stalkerweg 46 (Zutendaal). · Bezoensbeek valley (June 10). Departure: parking Hoogkantstraat-Schansstraat (Zutendaal), at the Jeroen Brouwers monument. · Roeler- and Munsterbeek valley (June 17). Departure: parking De Krieckaert, Krieckaertlaan 1 (Gellik). On June 17, 2006, the plant excursion in the valley of the Roeler- and Munsterbeek valley is on the program. In these two valuable stream valleys, at the transition of Kempen-Haspengouw, you will find various habitats. This ensures a great diversity of plants, including a number of rare species.
