EXPO Bernard Van Eeghem is ..

From June 12 to 28, De Markten presents ‘Bernard Van Eeghem is’, an exhibition about the life and work of the Brussels artist Bernard Van Eeghem (1953-2024). Bernard Van Eeghem passed away at the age of 70, on August 18, 2024. Until a few days before his death, he continued to work tirelessly on an impressive oeuvre. After his death, never-before-seen works appeared in his studio and archives: paintings, drawings, sketches, notes, and a number of large works. Together with pieces from private collections, they form the starting point for this exhibition, curated by Arthur Van Eeghem, Lola Dirkx and Hanneke Broucke.
