As a garden ranger, I would like to show you how even a small garden can play a big role for nature, climate, and quality of life. My garden is buzzing with life: bees, butterflies, beetles, grasshoppers, hoverflies, and many more insects find food, shelter, and nesting space there. That is no coincidence. By choosing native plants, layering in planting, space for spontaneous nature, and a pesticide-free approach, a resilient ecosystem is created. Biodiversity gardening doesn't have to be difficult. I would like to show you how simple choices: such as composting, reusing rainwater, or letting messy corners exist – make a world of difference. My garden is a mix of edible and ecological: with home-grown tomatoes, perennials, and compost from my bin and bokashi bucket. 🌱 Are you curious about how you can make your garden, big or small, more nature-friendly? Accessibility/parking options There is public parking on the street near Sparstraat 52. The garden itself is accessible from the back. Walk a bit further to Sparstraat 64. Turn right and take the small path that goes down. Turn right again on the mountain bike path. Walk to the 7th house. The gate will be open. Welcome!
