Social Dancing Club (the show)

SOCIAL DANCING SOCIAL CLUB (the show) is a collective creation for 5 dancers and a DJ that revisits the social dances of Wallonia known as "little dances," popular until the 19th century and today preserved in a spectacular form. On stage, the 6 performers coexist with numerous ghosts and transform the space to the rhythm of the figures they collectively draw and the emotions that pass through them. This performance is also a place of sociability and transmission that strives to offer tools for dancing together. At the SOCIAL DANCING SOCIAL CLUB, we re-imagine a forgotten folklore thanks to the fragments we collect and share it.
