Mental Health Week: "Roof and me, quite a balance"

Within the framework of the week of the Santé Mentale from October 5 to 11, 2026, at the initiative of the CRESAM, the Collectif Santth mental health of Ath invites you to participate in a convivial, creative, and inspiring day on Thursday, October 8, 2026, around the theme: "Mental health and housing: a place to live, spaces to (re)build oneself". Housing represents much more than just a roof. It is a space of security, intimacy, rejuvenation, and sometimes reconstruction. This day proposes to explore the multiple ways of inhabiting one's living space and to discover the resources, aids, and spaces that contribute to well-being, both at home and within shared places. Program of the day A morning of workshops to take care of yourself and your habitat From 10 a.m., nine participatory workshops will be offered at the exhibition hall of the Château Burbant in Ath, to reflect on our relationship with housing and discover concrete paths to improve our daily life: feeling better at home, saving energy, maintaining one's home, reconnecting with nature, creating bonds, and cultivating one's balance. A convivial and cultural time at noon At 12 p.m., the "Soup Shack", taken over by the SAPHA and Convivi’Ath, will welcome you around a bowl of soup and sandwiches prepared with care by the SAJA Les Heures Heureuses. Participants will also be able to discover a photographic exhibition in connection with the theme of housing and enjoy folk musical entertainment "Artemisia", for a moment of relaxation. An afternoon of cinema and exchanges The day will continue at 1:15 p.m. with the screening of the animated film "Olivia" at L’Écran, followed by a time for exchange at 3:15 p.m. and a closing drink at the exhibition hall.
