A summer forest walk in the Hellebos

Enjoying the beautiful fauna and flora  Het Hellebos is part of the Hellebos-Rotbos nature reserve, which is 138 ha in size. Besides a wooded environment , there are also water features : the Molenbeek flows together with the Veerlebeek to merge into the Barebeek, which flows into the Dijle in Muizen-Mechelen. In addition, the nature reserve also consists for a substantial part of grasslands. These different biotopes ensure a unique fauna and flora .  Definitely worth (re)discovering. And.... afterwards there is a party in the sports hall of Berg on the occasion of 50 years of nature management in the Torfbroek (another top nature reserve in Kampenhout-Berg).
