That journey, which she undertook together with her partner Dries, was more than a sporting achievement; it became the seed for the platform Welcome to My Garden. In the city cinema of Bruges, we watch her film “Women Don’t Cycle”, in which she critically examines the prevailing images of cycling women. After the credits roll, the lights won't stay on for long without conversation. We will engage in dialogue with Manon and Dries about how months in the saddle changed their view on hospitality.
