Beatriz Vilar

Born in Loulé in 1997, Beatriz Villar is one of the most promising voices of her generation. Trained at the Conservatoire de Coimbra, she leads an artistic career between theater, cinema, and music, the latter being her preferred mode of expression. In 2018, she became the singer of the group Na Cor do Avesso, winner of the "Canção de Coimbra 2019" award. A semi-finalist of "Got Talent Portugal in 2022", she released her first solo album that same year, Viragem, nominated at the Play – Portuguese Music Awards in the "Best Fado Album" category.
