L’Aube des Bulles • Le POP Cultural Center of Braine-l'Alleud

In a universe that is both cozy and mysterious, Sophie and Julien set a climate of benevolence with a series of intimate songs, sometimes soft, sometimes catchy. And here we are embarked on a journey of questioning and observations on our inner experiences and our needs to externalize them. Bloutch shares with its public this precious complicity, conducive to a moment of exchange and interactions where artists and children nourish each other mutually. Various influences nourish the musical universe of Bloutch: one drifts between Colombian cumbia, Réunion sega, Cape Verdean coladeira, allowing oneself small stopovers in the Balkans and Brazil. On stage, Sophie and Julien blend their voices like their instruments; drums, guitar, and accordion rub shoulders with the Indian harmonium and the West African n’goni, inviting young and old to dance and sing.
