BEAR has been one of the toughest noise-makers in the Belgian hardcore landscape for fifteen years. Their live shows are legendary - not only because everything sounds deafeningly loud, but also because there is always a small chance that an instrument will break. Or several. Hardcore, chaos, and melodies that stubbornly nestle in your head: that is BEAR. With Anhedonia , the Antwerp band sounds sharper, harder, and hungrier than ever. The five tracks were recorded live in Motormusic Studio in Mechelen and handled by Chiaran Verheyden (Psychonaut, Hippotraktor). The result: an uncompromising sledgehammer blow in which everything BEAR has stood for for fifteen years comes together - chaos, power, and controlled derailment. The record is being released via Pelagic Records. Destruction has been baked into the band's DNA since day one. From sweaty squats to concert halls: BEAR leaves a trail of sonic devastation everywhere. Their mix of metallic hardcore chaos and surprisingly catchy hooks makes them as brutal as they are addictive.
