Most of us are city dwellers and the first contact with Nature is made with the fauna and flora of green spaces and tree-lined roads. These environments often host species that are not indigenous, they have been introduced from Asia, the Americas, Australia, New Zealand,… The objective of the training is to give the means to recognize these species. For this, we will start from indigenous species to go towards introduced species.
This training will take place in three main parts: trees, shrubs, and bushes starting with conifers followed by deciduous trees. Then, we will address herbaceous plants. We will finish with a practical application in the streets of the surroundings to discover the urban flora.
