Open house at the Rebaix fire station

The Rebaix Firefighters' Association, in collaboration with the Wallonie Picarde Emergency Zone, is organizing an open house at Caserne de Pompiers on Saturday, June 6, and Sunday, June 7, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. - Chemin de Bilhée, 112 in Ath. Program: Demonstrations (deep-fryer fire, extrication with the GRIMP, divers, specialized interventions). Presence of numerous emergency responders (Red Cross, Epicura Ath emergency services, police, army). Local stands. 12 p.m. - Meal: spit-roasted ham / steak tartare / Nordic platter / children's menu. On Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., a blood donation drive will take place. You will need to bring an ID, not be fasting, and stay well hydrated before and after the donation. Sunday 10:30 a.m. - Motorcycle ride. 11 a.m. - 37th Concert de Printemps of the Royale Saint-Martin brass band. This event aims to be educational, friendly, and accessible to all, with the goal of helping the public discover the missions and daily life of emergency services.
