During this monthly walk, we discover together how light, colors, shapes, and sounds from nature have inspired artists for centuries. And the nice thing is: you don't have to be an artist to participate — just curious 😊 We head into the Gentbrugge Meersen and look at what surrounds us with new eyes. How does the landscape change in soft morning light or under a cloudy sky? What colors do you see in the grass, the water, and the sky? And what patterns do you discover in leaves, tree bark, or clouds? Along the way, we go on a discovery: - we look for patterns and shapes in nature - listen to sounds of birds, wind, and water - discover how artists work with natural materials - let ourselves be inspired by stories, poetry, and symbols from nature - feel movement in reeds, clouds, and flowing water Plants and animals tell stories: as symbols in art, poetry, and literature. The weather and the atmosphere determine the mood, while natural forms inspire us to sculptural thoughts. This walk is not a lesson, but an invitation to look, listen, and feel differently. This walk stimulates the imagination and invites adults to slow down for a moment. It is a playful journey of discovery full of wonder, in which looking, listening, and experiencing are central. The theme will be difficult to engage children. Please keep this in mind.
