Tree Seasons: the hidden story of trees in three walks

Every tree hides a story, carefully stored in the wood like a living archive that reacts to its environment. In three walks, we follow its life cycle as tree seasons and try to uncover the story. The walks reinforce each other as a triptych, but they are also perfectly followable separately. The walks last 2 to 2.5 hours. Summer - De Kracht of the Crown: Adult trees cool and protect their environment, but that same environment also has a strong influence on the growth and shape of the trees. We investigate how that interaction can steer the story of the tree in a completely different direction, what role fungi play in making the forest more resilient, and what influence the climate has on this.
