Concert Croissant : Giorgi Gigashvili

Winning The Voice at the age of thirteen is rarely a harbinger of a brilliant career in classical music, but Giorgi Gigashvili proves the opposite. Not satisfied with fleeting pop success in Georgia, Giorgi began his studies at the Paliashvili Central Music School for Gifted Children and completed them with overwhelming success. Since then, he has been racking up international awards and has become one of the most promising rising stars of classical music. His debut album 'Meeting My Shadow' immediately showcased the impressive color palette that the man possesses. This season, he is touring major European concert halls (including Bozar) with the program 'Relations', a thematic solo recital in which he contrasts the brotherly relationship between Fanny and Felix Mendelssohn with the amorous and musical relationship of Clara Wieck and Robert Schumann.
