Calle Malaga

Maria Angeles, a 79-year-old Spanish woman, lives alone in Tangier, in the north of Morocco, where she enjoys her city and her daily life. Her life turns upside down when her daughter Clara arrives from Madrid to sell the apartment in which she has always lived. Determined to stay in this city that saw her grow up, she does everything possible to keep her house and recover the objects of a life. Against all odds, she rediscovers love and desire along the way. A film by Maryam Touzani, the director of "Le Bleu du Caftan".
