DAY TRIP

We gather at 8:30 AM at the VTC in Jabbeke (Vlamingveld 40). There, we will board the bus towards Roeselare. !!! Be PUNCTUAL !!! Our first stop is ’t Karakske, an artisanal chocolate shop. “Chocolate is like patience, you can never have enough of it.” In the workshop, we learn the journey from cocoa bean to chocolate. We see how chocolate figures and pralines are made and also get to taste them. After that, it is time for a delicious lunch. For this, we head to the REO auction. After lunch, we take the bus again towards Izegem. We are expected at Huis Vanassche. “Eat good, look good, feel good” is their slogan. They prepare healthy meals without preservatives. We learn about the origin and operation of the company through a short film. After that, it is time for a tour through the storage freezers, the production area, the wholesale department, the kitchens, and the shop. We conclude in the offices. And then it is already time to head home and enjoy the memories. More info and registration
