Festival of the Book: Signing session THE FORBIDDEN PRINCE with Jurgen Bex

On Saturday, November 7, Jurgen Bex will sign his book De Verboden Prins I: Zwarte Olijven in Standaard Boekhandel Diest. Start: 2:00 PM De Verboden Prins I: Zwarte Olijven Wat if you should never have existed, and discovered that being broken is not the end, but the beginning? Vorhart is born as an unwanted child. Sensitive and kind-hearted, but from his first breath seen as a danger. His existence is denied, his voice smothered, his gentleness rejected. In a world where there is no room for vulnerability, his grief turns into anger, a force that slowly turns against him. The harder he tries to exist, the further he drifts from himself. Until he follows his urge for answers, even though he does not know where to begin. There, between silence and the unknown, nature and a few people invite him to listen once more: to his pain and to the darkness that will teach him to feel again. De Verboden Prins is a raw and psychological story with a mythical and spiritual undertone, about alienation, inner struggle, and the healing that arises when you once again dare to feel what you once had to forget. For those who lost themselves in anger, and want to find the way back inward. This event is part of Festival of the Book (www.standaardboekhandel.be/feest-van-het-boek).
