Soapbox Race | Lesterny

A new soapbox race course is being offered this year, with a descent of over 1.2 km. A relaxation area will be accessible to the public, allowing them to watch the race while enjoying drinks (beer or soft drinks) and a selection of light snacks. Entertainment is also planned throughout the day, including music and a mechanical bull attraction. The race Participating teams will be invited to go down the course in their soapbox. Performances will be evaluated based on both speed (time achieved) and the aesthetics and originality of the vehicles. Each team will have several attempts to achieve the best time. Prizes will be awarded for both the best timed performances and the most original and well-crafted vehicles. ⚠️ The number of spots is limited. Registration details People wishing to participate must send an email to jeunesselesterny@gmail.com, specifying: the name of the participant and, if applicable, that of the co-pilot, the age of the participants, and the team name. A registration confirmation will then be sent, along with payment details (€10 per team).
