Let’s play some southern rock! COPPERHEAD COUNTY (NL) Copperhead County is, as one of the few bands in the Netherlands, fully dedicated to southern rock. Inspired by renowned predecessors such as Blackberry Smoke, The Outlaws, and (many) others, the six passionate musicians bring their ‘footstomping and beer raising tunes’ throughout Europe. Wonderful compelling southern rock that takes the listener to the authentic and characteristic atmosphere of the south. It sounds, feels, and looks like southern rock, in short: Copperhead County is – despite its Dutch origin - pure southern rock. Together they have a shared ambition to introduce the Netherlands and the rest of Europe to ‘the real southern feeling’. Copperhead County previously released the EP ‘Enjoy the ride’ (2019) and debut album ‘Brothers’ (2020). With this, the band toured large parts of Europe, from Germany to Slovakia and from the Netherlands to Austria. Now there is the second album ‘Homebound’, filled with ten southern rock classics that are guaranteed to make you dream of the south. Since their founding in 2019, they have already released 4 studio and one live album. For their latest album \"Six String Preacher\" they recently received the Belgian Blues award \"Best Album\" from the Belgian Blues Federation. Their trademark: guitar-oriented southern roots rock carried by David's recognizable, husky voice. The atmosphere of their music varies from dark and ominously bluesy to funky and playful, always with the twin guitars of Charly Verbinnen & Dirk Lekenne in the spotlight. In the band's In de Almost Unplugged setting, they bring their songs back to the core: three men, three guitars, and a compelling sound in which David's unique voice and the duel between lead and slide guitar get all the space.
