Writing workshop

A silent interior, a light on a face, an object placed there, a familiar landscape, a suspended gesture, in Derchain's work, the simplest things seem to carry a story. And what if we lent them words? Over the course of the exhibition, we will observe the paintings differently: a detail, an attitude, a light, an absence can become the starting point of a character, a memory, a scene or a story. No need to know painting or be a writer: you just have to look, let associations come and let yourself be surprised by what the image gives birth to within oneself. ✍️Workshop led by Françoise Villers 📅 Date: 11/21/2026 from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM 📍 Location: Musées de Verviers - rue Renier 19 - 4800 Verviers 💶 Price: 50€ ✏️ Mandatory registration at coise.villers@gmail.com or 0496 84 53 44
