Medieval Festivals of Forest - 27th edition

These festivities have become over time an unmissable event! For a weekend, young and old are invited to relive the era of knights in the magical and green setting of the Abbaye de Forest. Meet many lords and knights, squires, bourgeois, soldiers, peasants, gentle ladies, minstrels, magicians, sorcerers, thieves, acrobats, jesters, jugglers, executioners, fire-eaters, etc… Numerous artisans, the most diverse and original in period costume, bring a touch of authenticity and present local products: medieval feasts, fruit wines, hypocras of ale, cider, almond milk, etc. Sculptors, cabinetmakers, second-hand dealers, jewelers, armorers, coppersmiths, enamelers, carpenters, potters and weavers present their artistic creations. Under the harmonious sounds of hurdy-gurdies and period music, one can visit real medieval camps or attend demonstrations of period trades, educational animations and of course sword fights or even equestrian jousts.
