Guided walk: Discovering the big buzzers of the Vloeiweiden, the bumblebee

Did you know that the Vloeiweiden in Lommel are a true paradise for the bumblebee? While we enjoy the unique landscape, these gentle buzzing bears are busy working among the rare flowers of the hay meadows. During this walk, we will dive into the wonderful world of bumblebees. We will learn why they are so important to our nature, how they build their nests, and — with a bit of luck and a search card in hand — exactly which species are flying around. From the buff-tailed bumblebee to the rarer guests: we will try to spot them all! Bring along: A good portion of curiosity (and possibly a magnifying glass jar).
