bike ride with a visit to the Rode Moerhoeve

This year we have put together another beautiful bike ride, namely to the Rodemoerhoeve in De Klinge. This farm is a progressive dairy farm where 85 cows and 750 goats are milked daily. In addition to producing delicious, high-quality milk, they are also committed to making their business future-proof, with sustainability and innovation at the center. Filip and Kristien work from a vision with great attention to animal welfare and the environment and are willing to look for new, innovative solutions. An example of this is composting all stable manure into farm compost. In addition, their daughter has started making artisanal farm ice cream, made from fresh goat milk. On Wednesday, June 10 at 13:15 we will arrive with our shiny steeds at the church square of Sint-Pauwels. Please wear a yellow safety vest! We leave PROMPTLY at 13:30 . (Outward journey = 12 km). Anyone who does not like to cycle along but is interested in the visit can come to Sluisstraat 4 by 14:15 . Kristien will guide us for 1 to 1.5 hours through the company. We will conclude the visit with a scoop of ice cream. Our return journey is 9 km. In case of bad weather, we will leave at 14:00 by car (at the church), those registered will then be notified.
