Course 'The next step in birdwatching for beginners...' part 2

De Sint-Elooismote hosts 120 bird species throughout the year. To get to know some of its inhabitants, we will immerse ourselves in a number of bird species that we find in the Sint-Elooismote.  For each species, we will get an overview of its habitat, migratory behavior, physical identification, and/or be accompanied by its birdsong. It will be a mix of songbirds, waterfowl, waders, birds of prey... a wide range.  We have scheduled 3 theory lessons, each linked to an excursion. The lesson days are provided by Wim Duran, coordinator of the Bird Working Group. The theory lessons take place on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM in the cafeteria of the Zorgcampus Langemark-Poelkapelle (Lekkerboterstraat 1, 8920 Langemark), with the excursion following on Sunday morning.
