On June 13, Gitannekesfoor brings Cumbia to Trekstaal! With, among others, Rolando Bruno & El Grupo Arévalo , it promises to be a sultry and danceable party. Straight from Buenos Aires, Rolando Bruno brings his unique “cumbia trash”: a quirky mix of Peruvian chicha, Argentine cumbia, psychedelic rock, and afro-influences, infused with a lo-fi DIY aesthetic. What started as a solo project with his legendary “MIDI Orchestra” grew into an explosive live band with musicians from the underground scene. DJ’s Kuni Kuni & Kamaradio bring a surprising repertoire of cumbia, gypsy beats, funky and eclectic gems from the 20th century and before.
