Terrain safari & bat count

Have you ever wondered how a building can also be a home for birds, bats, or salamanders? On Tuesday, June 10, we invite you for a special evening full of discovery, experience, and nature. What can you expect? We start the evening with a site safari along the buildings and infrastructure of Kamp C. Armed with an earpiece, so you don't have to miss a word, you will learn how nature and buildings can go hand in hand. We explore different biotopes on our site and discover how food, shelter, safety, reproduction, and connection play a role in a nature-inclusive environment. From the moat at De Basis to the green wall at 't Centrum: you will never look at a building the same way again. After that, we dive into the evening for a bat count . Natuurpunt guides you through the world of these special animals: their species, behavior, and importance to our environment. With a bat detector in hand, you will then go looking for emerging bats yourself: a unique experience you won't soon forget.
