A theatrical tirade between total control and complete loss PART 1 RANT (working title) originates from the experience of the internet as an indigestible abundance—aggressive, chaotic, and frenzied. Jäger & Ooms investigate how this excess affects the human condition and what impact it has on our experience. Inspired by the "angry internet," they transform the rant into music and dance, into a raging ritual. “How to rant? Don’t overthink it. Fixate on something and let it flow. It’s key to let yourself be guided by the musicality of your anger. Nothing is off limits. Don’t wait for an audience. You can rant everywhere, at any time. Ranting is the truth language of your nervous system. You must release. When you feel like you’ve reached the end, keep going. It doesn’t have to make a lot of sense—what matters is maintaining a steady, uninterrupted flow. Use your body as much as your voice: shake, carve into the air around you, let the energy build. At the peak, break into a brief, knowing dance—as if acknowledging the excess—then immediately snap back into an even more intense seriousness. This changes everything. Repeat. Build a routine.
