Commemoration of the hostage-taking of July 7, 1944, in Rebaix

On Tuesday, July 7, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., as part of the commemorations of the hostage-taking of July 7, 1944, in the village of Rebaix, "Les Amis of July 7" invites you to the ceremony in honor of the 66 people arrested, taken hostage, and deported to camps during Seconde Guerre War. This moment of memory and reflection aims to honor these individuals, to recall the tragedies of the past, and to pass on the essential values of freedom, peace, and solidarity to future generations. Program of the day 10:30 a.m.: religious service, ceremony at the war memorial, laying of flowers at the commemorative plaque, and a visit to the field of honor. 12:00 p.m.: aperitif offered in the school courtyard. 1:00 p.m.: meal - By reservation only before June 15 at 0493 45 15 80 or by email: severinecottille@yahoo.fr.
