Synopsis ⋆˚✿˖° ♡ ‧₊˚ ⋅ ౨ৎ ‧₊ .ᐟ Sérénade brings to the stage the final moments (in a hospice) of Madame Poirier, a down-to-earth and stubbornly obstinate woman. It is a reality, that of an end of life haunted by the cumbersome specter of her son who committed suicide, an accompanying pianist and failed soloist. Une Sérénade therefore, which implies the grandeur of a minor mode, is led by a lied by Schubert. However, the morbid fantasy, the taste for specters, and the end of a dispersed world are here deployed according to the code of pure comedy, even tinged with vaudevillian devilry. Consciousness and friction with death, friction with meaning in all its inanity: yes, one can laugh at everything and it is even healthy!
