Guided walk: Experience the taste of Sint-Martens-Bodegem

From May to September, we head into nature and heritage with the Uit Stappen. For five Sundays, you can enjoy beautiful walks, fascinating stories, and a touch of beer culture in Dilbeek. Want Dilbeek has a rich beer tradition – from hoppy fields to artisanal brewers, from vanished pubs to contemporary breweries where craftsmanship is still very much alive. Our guides will take you to places you would otherwise just walk past, tell anecdotes you won't hear elsewhere, and let you experience Dilbeek with all your senses. Join us in June in the green, rural Sint-Martens-Bodegem, where hop cultivation once flourished and beer culture determined the rhythm of village life. You will walk past one of the last hop kilns, through an authentic hop field, and visit the charming hop museum. Along the way, guides bring stories to life about cafés that have disappeared but are still very much alive in memories. A walk that beautifully brings together tradition, landscape, and local flavor.
