Creation involves its share of uncertainties and surprises and often encourages shifting what one had set for oneself or what one sees in order to welcome what emerges. The workshop is a time of reinvention through the pleasure of creating!
This workshop is open to everyone, without prerequisites. We will experiment with different mediums — pencils, inks, charcoal, acrylic paint, watercolor, pastels, monotype, walnut stain —, approach color and visual narration through a few technical constraints of formats, colors, and themes, while leaving room for your personal projects and desires. The year concludes with an exhibition open to the outside public. A minimum base of materials will be at your disposal, but at certain times and/or depending on projects, it might be useful to bring your own paper or material.
