At a party near Venice, fourteen-year-old Lucia falls in love with seventeen-year-old Giacomo Casanova. For her, but also for the young man, who would go down in history as the world's most notorious lover, this is the first great love. They promise each other eternal fidelity, but shortly thereafter, Lucia disappears from Casanova’s life, without letting him hear anything at all. A betrayal that determined young Casanova’s view of women forever. But what really happened there? Deed Lucia distance from a meaningless vacation love or did she rather distance herself from her happiness? Amore di amore was inspired by the novel A Splendid Defect by Arthur Japin. This coming-of-age story from earlier times forms the basis of this super-romantic and poetic performance. A story in and around old Venice, full of intrigue at the intersection of Bridgerton and Poor things. A sensual story served on a bed of opera music, and all that in la bella Italia.
