Panic!!
Cine-Concert

Temps Calme
On never tires of Cowboy, Indian, and Horse! After the previous day's aperitif-cinema, we invite you to extend the pleasure with Panic!!, a joyful, quirky, and frankly electrifying cine-concert. And if you haven't seen A Town Called Panic, don't panic: this show can be enjoyed very well on its own.
Created by the company Temps Calme, Panic!! revisits three short films from Panique Tous Courts, Vincent Patar, and Stéphane Aubier: Le Bruit du Gris, Steven and Janine on Vacation, and La Rentrée of the classes. We find the cult universe of Cowboy, Indian, Horse, Steven, and Janine, these plastic figurines animated in stop motion, launched into absurd, DIY, hilarious, and deeply Belgian adventures.
On each side of the screen, the musicians Samuel Allain and Olivier Desmulliez invent a live electro-pop soundtrack full of surprises. Synthesizers, theremin, guitar, vocals, percussion, concrete sounds, and sound clips transformed into rhythms accompany the characters' adventures and give new energy to the images.
Here, the screening becomes a real live performance. The music doesn't just illustrate: it restarts the action, amplifies the gags, creates suspense, and transforms each short film into a sound playground.
Funny, inventive, and accessible to the whole family, Panic!! is a visual and musical adventure full of pep, where handmade meets electro-pop, in a joyful Belgian mess.
