Christmas tale, concert-show

Text and music by Alexandre DIACONU Sunday, December 20 at 3 PM Romanesque church of Orp Avec with the support of the Municipality of Orp-Jauche & the aldermen of Tourism and Culture As the holidays approach, Conte de Noël invites young and old to rediscover the magic of stories told by the fireside, during an original concert-show presented on December 20 at 3 PM at the Romanesque Church of Orp. Written and composed by Alexandre Diaconu, this new musical show takes us into a snowy village where the inhabitants have gradually forgotten what hope, trust, and generosity mean. In the heart of winter, an old toy maker, a mysterious young woman, and a little girl who refuses to stop believing are going to turn their daily lives upside down and give birth to a legend that the entire world will end up knowing. Carried by entirely original music, Conte de Noël blends the elegance of the great traditional European songs with the warmth and energy of the Anglo-Saxon Christmas repertoire. Designed for a family audience, the show speaks with simplicity about what makes the essence of Christmas, love, forgiveness, mutual aid, faith in the other, and that light that everyone can choose to transmit.
