The Ommegang Festivities at the Sablon

Equestrian Jousts and Knightly Battles Renaissance Village and Market On Wednesday, July 1, Thursday, July 2, Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, the Ommegang continues its traditional Renaissance Village and Market to share with young and old alike the lifestyles and products of yesteryear, all in a period atmosphere! This year, the festival is thinking big! More than 30 vendors will be on hand to delight families with a host of gourmet specialties to enjoy on-site or take away, as well as a wide range of artisanal products and creations. Impressive floats, majestic giants, and other props will also be on display throughout the festivities to amaze young and old alike. There will be plenty of entertainment, thanks to the knightly tournaments known as the famous Ommegang jousts. And don’t miss the knights battling it out on foot.
