Cinema Storck: The Tale of Silyan

North Macedonia, harvest season. Due to the harsh reality of new government measures, farmer Nikola and his wife Jana can no longer sell their crops. Wanneer Nikola's family leaves in search of a better life abroad, and he is forced to take a job as an employee at a landfill. Here he meets Silyan, a white stork that has been abandoned by its family because of a broken wing. As Terwijl Nikola cares for the wounded bird and lets it recover, an unexpected friendship between human and animal arises. A bond that becomes so strong that Nikola decides to plow his land back into fertile soil.
